Privacy Policy

Information you give us

• Account details. When you register we store your email address, username, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Profile information. Any display name, avatar, banner image, or bio you choose to add.
• Content you upload. Videos, clips, posts, comments, and community activity, together with the titles, descriptions, and tags you attach to them.
• Messages. Direct messages you send to other users are stored so they can be delivered and re-read. They are not used for advertising.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and playback data. Which videos you watch, how far through you watch them, and what you like, save, or follow. This drives your recommendations and creators’ view counts.
• Device and connection data. IP address, browser or app version, and general region. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and choosing a video quality that will play smoothly.
• Aggregate analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics tool that records page views without cross-site tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.

Cookies

Uka sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies. All of them are httpOnly and Secure, which means page scripts cannot read them.

• fk_session — keeps you signed in.
• fk_accounts — remembers accounts you have added, so you can switch between them.

If you browse without an account, we do not create an identity for you or set either of these cookies.

Third parties, including Google, may also set cookies on your device as described below.

Advertising

Uka shows advertising to keep the service free and to pay creators a share of the revenue their content earns.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

How we use your data

• To operate the service — signing you in, delivering video, and showing your feeds.
• To recommend content we think you will want to watch.
• To calculate creator earnings and pay out revenue.
• To detect abuse, spam, and content that breaks our rules.
• To respond to you when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run Uka — hosting and content delivery, video storage and encoding, and advertising partners — and where we are legally required to do so. Anything you post publicly is, of course, visible to other users.

Retention

Account and content data is kept while your account is active. If you delete a video, post, or comment it is removed from the service. Deleting your account removes your profile and content, though backups and legally required records may persist for a limited period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at support@streamflock.xyz.

Children

Uka is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
