The video was also named after a movie about a reporter and princess who fall in love with but cannot pursue each other because of their statuses, much like Astra and Wise--also implying that the only reason why they are not in a relationship is because their current positions don't allow them to yet. Which led to this legendary crash out.

GGachaTouristCringe@gyahh_·4h agoGenuine question for the people of this subso i play gacha games, and i find myself enjoying a lot of the female characters and designs, and i spend on them pretty consistently. but when i consume media of a character, like art, let's say sunna, i actually get annoyed when the MC is part of the art. ive never really been able to associate myself with any gacha MC, so i much prefer it when the character is alone. like when i look at wise, i'm like: "that's not me" and having the character be solo helps me imagine im actually with them, and the MC just feels like a third wheel. like im not gay, so when i see some dude with my favorite character it doesn't feel like that's me with them yk this is why i prefer blue archive for its ML content, because "Sensei" is whoever you want them to be, and doesn't really have a face outside of arona's drawing and the manga/anime version i kinda just want to understand the other perspective if that makes sense

But again why should KR players accept the game doing this? the game is trying to be ML with only female characters and they even confirmed they will not make other male characters, and MC is a self insert, and shit ton of soft core porn. So Imagine being the Korean player having to sit on a game that baits you all the time and the one time they add a romantic interaction is playable characters with each other............COMPLAIN OF COURSE!!!! But they cant accept that "they are homophobic" no they are playing a ML game "they are self inserts" the devs confirmed that too, the game is already dying and they even confirmed a affinity system for 1.6 and more, but the backlash was so big from KR players that they demanded a change and they will do. Some mfs have the audacity to call them the minor audience lmao, yes the korean game made for korean males are the minority.
